The very first “Diabetes is NOT Sweet” event at Michigan State University included a Do-It-Yourself trail mix snack bar and refreshments to attract attendees. Little did we know this would lead to a nationwide movement for diabetes awareness!

RAWS has expanded its impact not only in Michigan but also internationally, partnering with schools as far as Nigeria to spread health education.

What started as a simple educational tool is now in line for distribution at over 39,000 retailers and libraries worldwide and online through places like Amazon.
